Drake is opening up about his life and the one thing he was scared to tell his mentor Lil Wayne. While sitting down with rapper, Lil Yachty Drake admitted Lil Wayne originally thought his name was “Drizzy Drake Rogers” and rapped it in the song “Ransom” back in 2008. Going on to say when he noticed the error, he didn’t have the guts to tell Wayne he had made a mistake. Take a listen around the 4:15 mark.
Wayne thought Drake’s last name was Rogers because Drake was sending emails from Rogers which is the name of one of Canada’s internet providers.
