We love when our politicians get it right and that’s exact what Democratic Senator Josh McLaurin has done! The Georgia Senator has sponsored a bill in the senate that would make the enforcement of booting cars in Georgia illegal.
Senate Bill 247 would make it illegal for booting services to put a boot on your car with a fine up to $1,000.
“The whole idea is that this is a practice that has been overused and abused, and it’s not something that’s done fairly,” Senator McLaurin told Fox News Atlanta.
If Senate Bill 247 is passed, lawmakers would find another method, like ticketing, to enforce parking violations.
