Strawberry Letter 23: I Want My Man Back!!!
Dear Steve and Shirley, Good morning to all. I am a 25 year old mother of two whose mother is trying to control my life. I had been with my fiance for 4 years and everything was going great until the day my mother went into a jealous rage about our relationship. She has always made crazy comments regarding our relationship because he got laid off and I became the top provider in MY house. Well that day she decided to have a friend of hers kick him out. She called one of her police officer friends and he called some of his friends and while I was picking up the children from school they knocked on my door and asked him to leave.
I love him so much and I want for us to get back together but I want my mother to stay away from me and my family. I love my mother but I feel as if she does not want to see me happy. I really do not want to lose the relationship I have with her but some things have to change. How do I get her out of trying to control my life and wanting to decide who I date? Most importantly how do I get my man back?
