Common was a guest host on “The Steve Harvey Morning Show today” and talked about his foundation, Common Ground, and his latest film, “Just Wright,” in theaters May 14.
Looks like we will finally see Common without a gun and an attitude in the movie theaters as he has just landed his first leading actor role in the upcoming comedy Just Right.
Movie co-star fellow rapper/actor Queen Latifah plays a sports trainer who finds herself falling in love with a professional basketball player while rehabilitating him from a career-threatening injury. The movie also stars Paula Patton, Phylicia Rashad, Pam Grier, and others.
