Atlanta Police have issued another crime alert for Georgia Tech after another robbery last night. A female student was robbed walking from the library to her car. Officers are asking students to consider safe university transportation.

Students may use the evening Stingerette service for travel from campus to the Home Park or Centennial Place neighborhoods only. Service is available during regular evening Stingerette hours – 7 days a week from 6pm to 7am. Please note Stingerette stops taking calls at 6:30am.
A Safe Ride Home Punch Card is required to use this service. The cost is $4/ride with the option of buying a 5-ride or 10-ride punch card. For a limited time, punch cards are being sold for $2/ride with the option of buying a 5-ride or 10-ride punch card! Cards may be purchased M-F in the Parking and Transportation Office between 8am and 5pm. For rides from neighborhoods back to campus, or within neighborhoods, you’ll have to call a taxi.
Taxi Service
By calling 5-RIDE you will be assisted in facilitating a taxi cab ride to and from off-campus destinations. General user fees are: $2.50 initially, $2/mile, and an additional $2 per person over 1 plus gratuity. For more information, visit www.parking.gatech.edu.
