The Georgia Bureau of Investigation arrested both Gregory & Travis McMichael Thursday night and charged them with murder and aggravated assault as a result of the death of Ahmaud Arbery.
The incident originally occurred on February 23rd, but this week, the video of the altercation was released. The footage circulated throughout social media, gaining attention from athletes, celebrities, & political figures alike calling for justice. Governor Brian Kemp announced on Twitter that the GBI would be dispatched on the case in the pursuit of justice.

There is a press conference scheduled for Friday morning at 9 AM in Brunswick, GA. The McMichael’s are being held in Glynn County Jail.
