If your sweet tooth is keeping you up at night and you’re trying to overcome the bad habit and eating sweets at night, check out these tips to get on track:

  1. Just 1 day. Instead of completely depriving yourself of desserts, pick one day to indulge in the sweet treat you love.
  2. Smaller serving. Instead of have huge bowl of ice cream (or any other dessert), portion your serving to no more than 200 calories. This way you’ll still get to enjoy the goodies you love without going overboard.
  3. Pick a healthier treat. Yes, you can satisfy your sweet tooth and get healthy nutrients at the same time! Instead of a chocolate peanut butter candy bar, try a protein shake with a scoop of plant based protein, 1 tablespoon of almond butter and 1/2 banana? Do your best to pick a healthy sweet treat so your body receives the benefits of what you eat!
