If you’re like most people on a weight loss journey, you’re probably anxious to drop weight fast. Although I don’t believe in “quick fixes,” I do acknowledge that there are certain strategies that can get the scale moving in the right direction. Check out these quick tips to lose weight fast:
- Drink mostly water. Yep, many of the calories we consume can be found in what we drink. Sugary juices and sodas can total up to 800 calories per day (if you drink them often). Cutting out non water beverages alone can help you lose up to 2 pounds with no exercise. Want to drop weight faster? Ditch the sugary drinks.
- Use your coffee as prefuel. Most people drink coffee for an energy boost to start the day…why not use it as a boost for your workout. Research has proven that caffeine (contained in coffee) can help give you a metabolic boost and the energy to push harder in the gym.
- Ditch unprocessed foods. Not only are whole/natural foods better choices for your health, they are lower in calories and sodium, preventing your body from holding on to extra “water weight.”
