Florida residents are getting ready for Hurricane Irma packing catastrophic winds of 185 mph, ten deaths have occurred in the Caribbean. Based on the latest weather model Hurricane Irma will hit southern Florida sometime Saturday night. As for Georgia the storm could hit Savannah early next week and its possible Atlanta could get some of the rain. The Atlanta motor speedway is opening it’s camping facilities free of charge to people escaping Irma it will open both the RV and tent camp grounds starting today.
Tiger shot dead in Henry County after it attacks a dog

The tiger roaming around Henry County had to be shot and killed after it attacked a dog in a metro Atlanta neighborhood. Suzy, a 6-year-old bengal tiger was owned by Feld Entertainment, Inc. which once owned the Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey circus and Disney on Ice. They were transporting the bengal tiger and other animals from Florida to Tennessee and the tiger escaped when the truck stopped in Georgia. Officials say they are still investigating the situation and charges are possible.
