“I love horror, I feel like there’s been a lack of representation in horror movies…black people die first…There’s a difference on how black people would behave if we were in them long enough to watch…overall its just about bringing someone with my perspective to this genre…sometimes the black point of view is needed in this genre, I think it’s what makes it a special movie and people are responding.”
