HBCU’s an absolute priority to the Trump administration
On Tuesday night, President Trump made his first address to Congress, touching on his goals for immigration, jobs, education and national security.Atlanta’s historically black colleges and universities hope an executive order signed by President Trump (Feb. 28) will increase funding and grants. Trump signed the order in the presence of HBCUs presidents from Morehouse, Spelman, & Clark Atlanta. The executive order moves governance on HBCUs from the Department of Education to an Executive Director appointed by the White House.

Tommy Hunter has been asked to resign after he called John Lewis a racist pig, referring to Democrats as “Demonrats” and “Libtards” on Facebook. Protesters say they will attend every meeting until Tommy Hunter resigns.
