Republican Presidential Nominee Donald Trump Holds Election Night Event In New York City

Donald Trump has been elected as the 45th President of the United States.

The electoral votes totaled with Trump at 288 and Hillary Clinton at 215 votes.

Although Clinton did not address her supporters, CNN announced that she made a phone call to Trump just before 3 a.m. to concede the election on Wednesday.

During Trump’s speech he gave a gracious speech thanking his family, campaign staff, Hillary Clinton, United States Secret Service and New York Law Enforcement.

He admits that the campaign was rough and that he’s learned as an outsider that politics are “dirty” during his 18 month campaign.

He concluded that he hopes that this United States citizens will be pleased with his presidency, as “it’s time for America to bind the wounds of division”, he mentions that he plans to also help veterans, and of course, “Make America Great Again”:
