Subject: Two boyfriends are better than one

Dear Steve and Shirley, I’ve been with my man for over a year now and when everything is good with us, the feeling is so magical. I love him and I love spending quality time with him. The only problem is, we don’t always vibe. After work, I want to go home to him, laugh and talk, have dinner with him, watch TV or a movie, cuddle and go to bed. When those days happen, it’s perfect. But those days are few and far between. Usually when I come home, he’s either sleep, about to leave the house or he is already gone. See, he hustles for a living and he doesn’t have a set work schedule. He says he’s making the money for us, but I feel like we don’t spend enough quality time together. Just being in the same house with someone isn’t enough. Recently, we had scheduled 3 different dates and each time he found a way to bail out. His excuse is always that he needs to go make some money or go and handle some business. He stays out late and I get up early. So, I feel like it would be easier for me to deal with it, if I had another man on the side. But my problem is, where do I find one? I need my side man to not be interested in sex… all I want is his attention and affection. I don’t have many friends, so I’m usually at home by myself, mad that my man isn’t here. Is it wrong for me to want someone else? Where can I find a man that will only want companionship? I did tell my man that I was going to get a 2nd boyfriend, but he doesn’t believe me, or maybe he doesn’t care. When I told him, he just laughed it off and went back to sleep. Men cheat all the time, why can’t I? I’m just so tired of being alone all of the time. What should I do?
