Dear Steve and Shirley, I am a 32 year old pretty, no kids having, building my credit up, securely employed with full benefits, college educated, single woman! I have been single for 3 years. Growing up in the church, I was brought up to wait for the man. God is going to send you a man, wait, wait, wait… boo! I realize everything I ever wanted in life, I didn’t wait, I went out and grabbed it. I’ve done this with everything, except for my love life. So a month ago, I subscribed to a well known online dating website. Sorry Steve, I forgot all about Locate Your Love and went with one of the other ones. I created a profile and was open to this new adventure. Well, I’m writing you because there is this guy that is freaking me out! He is handsome, hardworking, and loves black women. Women who look like his mom, sister, me, Shirley and Carla. He lets me know I am a keeper. He is serious about me and I am wife material. He tells me we can take our time, but he knows what he wants and it is ME! He is only 7 years older than me and has never been married, so I don’t know if this is how older men act. I haven’t dealt with a man like this before and it’s a little scary. I am really buggin! He wants me to meet his mother and it hasn’t even been a month. I already told him he needs to pump his breaks! Should I just go with the flow and see where it takes me? I never thought I would begin a real relationship with someone I met online. I am thinking about cutting this off and waiting on the Lord. But Shirley, he makes me blush every time I talk to him and see him. Help!
