Apple is going above and beyond to distinguish their new streaming service, Apple Music from the likes of Pandora, Spotify, Google Play or TIDAL.

In the the third installment of commercials for the brand directed by the incomparable Ava DuVernay; Taraji P. Henson, Mary J. Blige and Kerry Washington are still hanging out and having the ultimate girls day.

The tagline for the first commercial was “Instant Boyfriend Mixtape Service” where the trio reminisced on having their old school boos give them cassettes of love songs. The second installment was “Kitchen Dance-Off Service” where Mary showed off her culinary skills while the ladies salsa danced.

In the latest and final chapter, Apple Music is touting itself as the “Heartbreak Recovery Service”. The trio shares that Lauryn Hill’s 1998 Grammy Award winning ballad “Ex-Factor” and Gloria Gaynor’s 1978 disco empowerment song, “I Will Survive” are the keys to recovering from a breakup. Check out the super cute clip above.

Great job Ava for showing such cool and carefree #BlackGirlMagic! There’s only one…maybe two things missing. Where’s our invite? And where’s Viola Davis? We would love to see her let her hair down and be one of the girls! Hopefully Ava has more commercials in store!
