Subject: Sneaky Texting
Dear Steve and Shirley,
I need your help.
I have been dating this guy for a couple of years now, and he has just recently expressed interest in taking our relationship to another level. The problem is, I have observed him doing what I call Sneaky Texting. What I mean by Sneaky Texting, is he will pretend that he is checking his banking app, Facebook, his email, etc. on his phone, when really he is texting. I have caught him doing this but I have not confronted him about it. It drives me crazy because I feel like he is insulting my intelligence by thinking that I don’t see him do this. I have been 100% honest with him about ALL my friends, both male and female, and have no problem with him even going through my phone.
What is the best way to let him know that I have eyes in the back of my head and I see him Sneaky Texting, and before we can move forward with our relationship, I need this to stop.
