It’s pretty obvious that eating unhealthy foods can cause you to gain weight but the time of day you eat can also affect your waistline. As a matter fact, a recent study found that people who consume the majority of their calories during breakfast lost more weight than those who ate more in the evening. This is key because a lot of us get so busy in the morning, we skip breakfast, slowing down our metabolism and end up overeating to compensate later in the day. This behavior is a sure way to ruin your weight loss and will certainly stop you from seeing any progress.

Instead of waiting until you’re starving, eat your biggest meal first thing in the morning, lowering your calorie count for each meal as the day passes. By dinner, you won’t be as hungry and will opt for a lower calorie meal.
