MA Parents Allege School’s WiFi Is Behind Their Son’s Illness

The Fay School, a prestigious grade school in Massachusetts, is now being sued by parents who believe their son’s illness, electromagnetic hypersensitivity (EHS), has been prompted by the school’s WiFi system. The issue began in 2013 after the school installed a stronger, more sophisticated WiFi. The parents say their son immediately began displaying systems like headaches, itchy skin, nosebleeds, dizziness, heart palpitations and nausea after being in class.

Before pursuing the lawsuit, the parents requested that the school switch to using Ethernet to accommodate for the mysterious illness that they considered to be a disability. However, the school refused, arguing that its WiFi emissions have been tested by a tech firm, Isotrope, recommended by the student’s parents. Isotrope released a statement on The Fay School’s WiFi deeming it “substantially less than one ten-thousandth of the applicable safety limits (federal and state).” Read more at The Daily Beast.
