We know her best from her amazing vocals on, “Nobody’s Supposed to Be Here,” and she also did a wonderful job handling the singing role of Whitney Houston in the biopic,Whitney, now, Deborah Cox is back with two major stage performances. Next year, Cox will star in two musical stage plays as Josephine Baker and Whitney Houston.
Cox, will take center stage in the Broadway-bound play, Josephine, first at a Theatre in Florida, on April 27th, prior to an official opening on May 6th.
She is also set to recreate a role made famous by Whitney Houston. Yes, Deborah Cox will be starring in The Bodyguard, inspired by the 1992 blockbuster hit that starred Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner.
Release dates have not been announced yet but we’ll keep you updated.
