Earlier this week we heard about Harold Ekeh, the New York teenager accepted to all eight Ivy League schools. Now, Munira Khalif, a senior at Mounds Park Academy in St. Paul, Minnesota, has also been accepted to all eight, and Nik Bostrom, of Verona, New Jersey, to seven, reports say.

Their stories are as amazing as the students themselves.

Besides top grades and test scores, Khalif, the daughter of Somali immigrants, is a recipient of the United Nations Youth Courage Award and founder of her own non-profit, Lighting the Way, which is dedicated to improving access to education for East African youth, NBC News reports.

She received acceptance letters from Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Yale, Princeton, and the University of Pennsylvania, NBC says. She was also accepted to Stanford, Georgetown, and the University of Minnesota.

“I’m humbled to even be able to have these choices because I know that that’s not the case for everyone,” she told the news station.

Bostrom, 18, a senior at Verona High School in Verona, New Jersey, has a 4.44 GPA. He was accepted at Brown, Carnegie Mellon, Columbia, Cornell, Georgia Tech, Harvard, New York University, Northeastern, Northwestern, Princeton, Stevens, University of Michigan, University of Pennsylvania, University of Virginia, Yale, and Rutgers. He did not apply to Dartmouth, according to ABC 7.

The sagacious teen told the news station that he loves to sing a cappella and attributes his astonishing achievements to challenging himself. He plans to major in computer science and software engineering with the possibility of creating an app, the report says.

“I don’t have any ideas for an app,” he told ABC 7. “But if I did, I would keep it to myself until it comes out.”

While several Verona seniors were accepted into Ivy League schools, Bostrom is the only one who got into seven, ABC says.

“I’m stunned,” Bostrom told ABC. “My friends are all congratulating me, my teachers, even students and teachers I don’t know because we don’t have class together are coming to me saying congratulations.”

Congratulations and good luck, Munira and Nik!
