Andrae Crouch has passed away at 72. The singer, songwriter and choir director had been hospitalized since Saturday after suffering a heart attack. Andrae Crouch has been called “The Father of Modern Gospel Music,” he led the choirs that sang on such hits as Michael Jackson’s “Man in the Mirror” and Madonna’s “Like a Prayer”. Not the mention the countless gospel hits that he has written. He will be truly missed.
