Authorities are searching for a man who may have information about a homemade explosive device that someone set off next to the Colorado Springs chapter of the NAACP.
The explosion occurred Tuesday. Fortunately there were no injuries and the building only sustained minor damage. However, a gasoline canister placed next to the explosive could have caused much more damage, but fortunately it did not ignite. Authorities are reportedly looking for a balding white man in his 40s who may be driving a dirty, white pickup truck.
The NAACP’s national office issued a statement saying it was looking forward to a thorough investigation on the matter.
