Rumors have been swirling for weeks that rapper Remy Ma would soon be getting out of jail and today is reportedly the day for her homecoming. According to Baller Alert, the rapper was found guilty of shooting Makeeda Barnes-Joseph in the abdomen back in 2008. The entire encounter was alleged to have been over $3,000.
Remy says that she has been spending her time in jail writing rhymes and thinking about life in general. Ma claims this situation has,
“Caused her to look at business dealings and personal actions differently.”
She also claims that she and fellow rapper Nikki Minaj have mutually been supporters of one another. Said Ma,
“Nick has always been a supporter and vice versa”.
During her time in prison Remy married rapper Papoose who had been her longtime boyfriend. Ma has reportedly been pleasantly surprised that Papoose stood by her side during her entire ordeal.
Along with new music, Remy reportedly has a reality show in the works that will showcase her life as a rapper and it will also delve in to her recent struggles.
