Subject: Still Waiting To Go To Church
Dear Shirley and Steve,
I am a 26-year-old woman who has been dating a 27-year-old man for the past 2 years. When we met it was towards the end of 2012 and after 3 months of talking we find out his ex of 6 years was pregnant w/ his first child. I chose to stay talking to him. Throughout the pregnancy I was a bit insecure and feeling scared that he would want to rekindle things w/ his child’s mother for the sake of the child. Fast forward to now, It has been almost 2 years and I have yet to meet the child, whom just turned 1 years old and I have yet to attend church w/ him, whom his child’s mother is and has been a member of his father’s church for some years now. He has mentioned he does not rush into relationships, but Am i playing myself by continuing to want to be w/ him? should i leave or should I just be patient and let him come around with wanting to invite me to church and meet his son
