Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have been cleared by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS), after a black and white photo of their 13-year-old daughter, Willow, sprawled across a bed with shirtless 20-year-old actor, Moises Arias, went viral on Instagram, reports Radar Online.
According to sources who spoke to Radar Online, DCFS concluded that Willow was never in danger, nor had the child “ever been physically or emotionally abused.” The investigators went on to say that singer is “a very well-adjusted, smart and articulate young lady.”
The controversial photo of Willow and Arias sparked heated debates and raised eyebrows with many questioning the appropriateness of a young child lying in bed–albeit fully clothed–with a shirtless man. When TMZ approached Jada last month about the hot button photo, she insisted there was nothing sexual about it and that Willow and Moises were just friends. “You guys are projecting your trash onto it, and you’re acting like covert pedophiles, and that’s not cool,” she added.
Will and Jada were lambasted again last year after Willow released a controversial song, “Summer Fling,” with many deeming the lyrics much too mature for the then 12-year-old to perform.
