3. Making Excuses

If you mess up, own it, apologize and rectify the situation. No employee is perfect and mistakes are made, however, how you respond or own up to your mistake will affect how others perceive you in the long run.

4. Missing Deadlines

Deadlines can creep up at any time and in any shape or form. Plan ahead, keep track of any changes in plans or strategies and execute accordingly. If you by chance miss an important deadline, see # 1- 3.
