It’s being reported that Amira was watching television when she heard weird noises coming from the kitchen. Amira ran in to see that her mother was choking, she remembered the infamous scene where Pierce Brosnan was choking and Mrs. Doubtfire saved him. “I picked her up three times,’ Amira told KABC. ‘She spit the sausage out.’
In addition to seeing the Heimlich being administered in a movie, Amira’s grandfather also taught her the life-saving maneuver. Without Amira’s helping hands, Jennifer would have choked to death. ‘It was pretty scary because there was nobody else here, and I couldn’t talk, I couldn’t, I was just in shock,’ Jennifer said.
