TheUrbanDaily: Big Daddy Kane was obviously one of my favorite episodes  along with The Fat Boys, and you had EPMD this season. Is there any thought to doing a separate “Unsung” show for rappers?

Jubba: We get asked that a lot, I think internally what we wrestle with is we still have so many artists to include. This was birthed out of soul and R&B and we’re sort of peppering the seasons with a little Hip-Hop here and there. It was a couple of seasons before we touched Hip-Hop because that was something that I really was excited to do when I first took over the show, but there were reasons why we needed to space it out. We needed to hit some genres, we needed to hit some artists first and then we got to tackle Hip-Hop. So I think that it’s going to grow to that but right now there’s just this sense that we don’t want to touch this, this is our golden goose.
