Baltimore Ravens need to find a new back up for Ray Rice. Ricky Williams is retiring for the third and final time. Williams, 34, told the Ravens office he wouldn’t be back to fulfill the second year of his contract. When Williams wasn’t playing the bench, he ran for 444 yards and scored two touchdowns.

Of his time in the NFL, Williams said, “The NFL has been an amazing page in this chapter of my life. I pray that all successive adventures offer me the same potential for growth, success and most importantly, fun. As for what’s next, I am excited about all the opportunities ahead — continuing my education, running The Ricky Williams Foundation and whatever other opportunities present themselves.”

Ricky Williams previously retired in 2004 and 2006. Check The Grio for more on Ricky Williams’ retirement.
