Actress, comedienne and TV host Mo’Nique won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in “Precious.” She beat out Vera Farmiga, Anna Kendrick, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Penelope Cruz, as she did at the Golden Globes.
