Nothing like starting the week with a little “Housewives” chatter, and the latest morsel is a blog report that Lisa Wu Hartwell is leaving the show.
Celeb publicist Jonathan Jaxson writes on his blog that Hartwell decided to part ways from “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” and is pursuing other opportunities. But Hartwell’s own publicist says she will indeed appear on the show this season. Oh, the drama.
Either way, Hartwell certainly has been busy. Lately she made an appearance at a Macon boutique carrying her fashion line, while her husband Ed Hartwell made his theatrical debut recently, during a play in Atlanta.
Her recent Twitter posts indicate Lisa Hartwell has been at a conference in Newport News, Va. lately.
Incidentally we got word (and photos!) that the Hartwells were vacationing down on Savannah’s Tybee Island recently, “as guests of oceanfront cottage.com owners Stacye and Lannie Jarrell.”
A statement that accompanied photos of the happy couple frolicking in the surf said, “Tybee is their home away from home and they did personal appearances as a way to contribute to helping this little island stay on the map. They are very kind, great ambassadors for Tybee and we loved hosting them.”
That missive included a little newsflash, too: “Lisa is just back from L.A. where she signed a movie deal to star with Robert Downey, Jr. beginning in July.”
Who needs the Housewives when you have Hollywood, right?
