Dr. Maya Angelou and a host of others will take part in a special event at Riverside Church in New York City on Saturday, Nov. 7 at 8 p.m.
The evening program titled, “Saving the Race: The Human Race,” will feature the words and wisdom of Dr. Angelou, an extraordinary talent who is often described as one of the great voices of contemporary literature.
The poet, educator, historian, actress, playwright, civil-rights activist, producer and director will be joined by celebrity guests.
Tickets for this very special evening can be purchased online or at the Riverside Theatre box office. General admission is $20. Students are $10.00

Steve I watched you do a stand up for the TD Jakes, (Woman Thou are Loose), I think. You said you wish that you could introduce Jesus Christ. You did a wonderful job, but the greatest introduction you have made is to the people who do not know Jesus. When you are on the air you acknowledge God and in your own way you praise him. Their is a lot of shows that want say his name. So, I hope that you will always stay on this battle field for the Lord. When you give God the praise the blessing will soon come. I hope that God will bless you and your co-workers and family for allowing yourself to be used.
