On September 30th, 1962, Marlon Williams, aka, “Marly Marl was born. Happy Birthday!
He got his start as a New York disc jockey and eventually went on to produce some of hip-hop’s early biggest hits. Marly Marl has worked with hip-hop icons like Big Daddy Kane, Biz Markie, Masta Ace, Kool G. Rap, MC Shan and more. He is considered one of the most influential hip-hop producers of all time.
