According to Billboard, Beyoncé will release the deluxe edition of last year’s self-titled album and to get things started, she’s shared “7/11″ and “Ring Off,” two new songs that will appear on the Beyoncé Platinum Edition.
On “7/11,” Beyonce shows that she still has that unique edge over hard-hitting production, as she continually shouts “Smack that, clap that…like you don’t care!”

As for “Ring Off,” this seems to be a lyrical letter to her mother Tina about her recent divorce from Beyonce’s father, Mathew Knowles. Beyonce sings: “Then you’d smile through your tears / In the mirror you would stare and say a prayer…Mama, you live and learn/ That’s just the way life goes…Until you’d had enough and then you took your ring off.”

According to Billboard, the Beyoncé Platinum Edition contains a new collection of tunes called More, which features “7/11” plus remixes of past songs from Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Pharrell, and Mr. Vegas. It also includes the original album and a DVD containing the associated videos, along with a live performance DVD chronicling the Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, a photo booklet, and a Beyoncé mini calendar for the coming year.
