Chicago’s Jackie Robinson West Little League team made history when they became the first all African-American team to play in the Little League World Series. Although the team lost in the championship to South Korea, the team became an inspiration to kids everywhere and especially to their native Southside of Chicago. The city’s mayor, Rahm Emanual, called the team the “pride of Chicago.”

Jackie Robinson West coach Darold Butler was on Ed Gordon’s “Just Ed” segment from The Steve Harvey Morning Show where he talked about his team’s incredible run.
