Aside from being nominated a whopping eight times at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards, Beyonce will take home MTV’s top honor, the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. If that isn’t exciting enough, Queen Bey will hit the stage for what we’re sure will be an epic performance! (And we’re not talking that Skype in from the “On The Run” tour cellphone footage she pulled at the BET Awards).
Past Video Vanguard Award winners include: Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey and Michael Jackson for whom the award was renamed in 1991.
