Dear Steve & Shirley,

I believe there is a dark curse hovering over me passed down from my grandmother. Since I was about 17 I’ve dated married men; either I knew up front or they initially lied about being married but married is married. My grandmother was married and had a lover as well so that’s why I think I’ve been cursed. I have been able to control my emotional feelings when dealing with majority of these fellas but I’m currently in a situation where my feelings have gotten the best of me. The man I’m currently dealing with has out right told me he isn’t happy and he’s in the process of looking for a home to move out from his wife. He constantly complains about how he’s unhappy and she knows that they are over so I suggested we wait until the storm is over because I don’t want to be “that” woman especially having feelings for him because I do believe in karma and maybe that’s the reason I keep getting these type of men. We have discussed the backlash that can come from our selfish acts but I just don’t know what to do.
