According to TMZ, a Pentecostal pastor from the Nat. Geo‘ show ”Snake Salvation” died Saturday night after one of the poisonous snakes that he is known to handle in his ministry bit him.
The Nat Geo website explained that Pastor Jamie Coots and his followers believe the Bible says a poisonous snakebite will not harm them as long as they are anointed by God’s power.
EMTs went to Coots’ home but he wanted none of it. One hour later the pastor died.
There are no words to express our utter confusion about this entire story.
