If it isn’t broke, why fix it?

Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry are sticking to their successful formula and partnering up for yet another scripted series.

According to a press release, Perry expands his relationship with the OWN network by creating a new TV show based on his forthcoming feature film Single Mom’s Club. While the movie stars Terry Crews, Amy Smart, Nia Long and Perry himself, the hourlong drama will include an entirely new cast.

Deadline reports the “one-hour drama, which centers on a group of single women from different walks of life who form a support group following an incident at their children’s school, is written, directed and produced by Perry as part of his producing deal with OWN.”

The triple threat has three successful OWN shows under his belt: “Love Thy Neighbor,” “For Better or Worse” and “The Haves and the Have Nots,” which returned for its sophomore season with a record of 2.8 million viewers Tuesday night.

In addition to Perry’s work, OWN’s fall lineup includes Lindsay Lohan’s docuseries “Lindsay,” former NFL star Deion Sanders’ reality show “Deion’s Family Playbook,” and “Love in the City,” which has been named the Harlem version of “Sex and the City.”

Single Moms Club, the film, is set for a March 14 release.
