Beyonce fans all over the world have spoken: she is the queen.

According to reports, the 32-year-old’s new self-tiled album is No. 1 on iTunes in 100 countries — yes, one hundred. From the United States and the United Kingdom to Russia and South Africa, her star power is officially on a global scale.

Queen Bey pulled off the “visual” surprise in total secrecy. She dropped 14 songs and 17 videos in the middle of the night with absolutely no promotion on Thursday (Dec. 12). The album sold 80,000 copies in the first three hours, and according to industry projections, it’s expected to land on top of the new Billboard 200 chart on Dec. 18.

“I didn’t want to release my music the way I’ve done it,” Beyoncé explained in a press release. “I am bored with that. I feel like I am able to speak directly to my fans. There’s so much that gets between the music, the artist and the fans. I felt like I didn’t want anybody to give the message when my record is coming out. I just want this to come out when it’s ready and from me to my fans.”

Billboard reports the first two singles will drop at the same time: “Blow” produced by Pharrell Williams and “Drunk In Love” featuring Bey’s husband Jay Z. “XO,” a rousing ballad written by Ryan Tedder and The-Dream, will reportedly follow in later 2014.
