Subject: Scared Of Coach, But I Like His Daughter
Hi Steve,
I’m really scared to be writing this letter, but I need your help. I’m a 21 yr. old on the girls basketball team here in Mobile, Al. I got injured and one of the coaches volunteered to help me get to my appointments. It started off very innocent, but now is out of control. He is calling and texting me all the time, and sending me pics. Sometimes I act like I lost my phone so I don’t have to deal with him. Telling me how much he loves me. I was telling him I love him too, but I really don’t. I didn’t know what else to do. He wants us to get married. He is 51 yrs. old. I looked at him like a mentor, but now I’m just scared. He won’t stop. I heard he broke up with his girl and is moving out so we can live together. I just want him to go away. I’ve been through a lot of terrible things in my 21yrs. I was confiding in him, but now this is creepy. I want to tell my family, but they will KILL HIM. I worry about the other girls on the team, because only a couple of them know how he is. You wouldn’t think he was like that, because he coaches the swimming team too. Is he trying to touch those little girls too? I was liking his daughter, because I’m Bi-sexual, but he keeps applying pressure. I was hoping someone else would hear this letter when you read it on the air and maybe he would then stop and go away. I don’t want to live with or marry an OLD man. I thought about going to the other coaches or the president of the school, but I don’t want to lose my basketball scholarship, and don’t know if they would help me or be on his side. Since he acts like a Christian man. Should I go to the police?
