Spread love, it’s the Brooklyn way!

According to reports, there’s currently a petition going around to rename a  Brooklyn street corner after the late Notorious B.I.G. The intersection of St. James Place and Fulton Way, where the rap legend grew up, would change to Christopher Wallace Way if the community approves.

In July, the City Council voted to rename more than 50 streets after notable New Yorkers, and the petition’s organizer LeRoy McCarthy insists that Biggie is the most deserving.

“Artistically during Christopher Wallace’s time in music he was considered the best at his craft,” he writes in the Change.org petition. “Coming from modest beginning the story of Christopher Wallace tells the story of a boy to a man accomplishing greatness, using words as his tools. The story Christopher Wallace continues to have a resounding influence on new generations although he passed away in 1997.”
