Dear Shirley and Steve,

I’m a 37-year-old man with 7 children, and 5 children moms. Yes I made some bad choices in my life. I was looking for love in all the wrong places! My father died when I was 10, and my mother was on drugs and left me at the age of 16. Please understand that I’m not using these issues as excuses, but they do play a part. So to fast forward to my issue. I have these 7 children and I’m constantly fight with 3 of my kids moms just to spend time with my kids. The three of them together has a total of 5 of my kids! Two has one and one has three. I understand that I have made some major mistakes in my past. But God has forgiving me so I have moved past them. My issue is that in my heart I don’t feel right just spending time with just two of my children and not the rest. The three women that are not letting me see my kids are still trying to hold my past over my head! So to hurt me they are keeping my kids away from me! Shirley, Steve, I am a man who is fighting everyday just to make things right. I have humbled myself and asked these women for forgiveness, but it seems like it’s not enough! People tell me all the time just be happy spending time with the two you can, and leave it in God’s hands. But it is hard cause I love my kids with all heart! I don’t have time to go to court cause I have to work in order to pay my child support. I’m stuck in between a rock and a hard place! Please give me some insight!
