Atlanta Cheesecake Company – 9/19 – 10/27/2012 at 10am-12noon during Mon-Thurs only

On behalf of the Atlanta Cheesecake Company, the Cobb/Cherokee GDOL will be facilitating their application process for employment as a Line Worker. Must have a High School Diploma/GED, be at least 18 years old and be able to stand for prolonged periods of time in a fast paced production environment. Positions take place in a production plant. Will perform any combination of following tasks in preparation of Cheesecakes along conveyor lines. Will inspect cheesecakes moving along conveyor to detect defects and removes defective items from conveyor to reject bins. Will perform other duties as assigned. Pay starts at $7.25 per hour with a $0.25/hr raise after 90 days. The employer is located in Kennesaw, GA. Positions are full-time. Employer does not have a hiring limit.
Hire Dynamics – 9/20/2012 at 1:30-3pm

Representative from Hire Dynamics will be at the Gwinnett Career Center on Thursday, September 20th from 1:30 to 3:00 pm to meet with applicants for seasonal positions in Norcross for which the company is recruiting. Digital Photofinisher – This position is seasonal. Duties will include fabricating gift items, sorting, packing, cutting materials and shipping finished products. Training Recruitment – 9/20/2012 at 10am-12noon

The Cobb-Cherokee Career Center and Chattahoochee Technical College will host a training recruitment at the career center. The two hour program will include an overview of Chattahoochee Tech’s healthcare training programs (Clinical Laboratory Technology, Emergency Medical Services, Medical Assisting, Nursing, Occupational Therapy Assistant and Paramedicine), followed by short presentations by instructors and admissions and financial aid staff. Attendees will also have an opportunity to meet one-on-one with the presenters.
NE GA Job Fair-Career Expo – 9/21/2012 at 12noon-3pm

The 2012 Northeast Georgia Job Fair/Career Expo sponsored by the Toccoa Career Center, Northeast Georgia Employer Committee, North Georgia Technical College, Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce, TruVista, WNEG Radio, and The Toccoa Record. Early Bird Workshops begin at 11:00 am. Job seekers should come appropriately dressed, resumes in hand, prepared to meet and discuss available job openings.
