
Gabby Douglas appeared on NBC’s Today show this morning, one day after the 16-year-old gymnast made Olympic history by becoming the first African-American woman to win a gold medal in the women’s all-around gymnastics final.
Gabby talked about the long road she traveled to get to the 2012 Olympics, getting a congratulatory call from President Obama and how important it is to her to make history as the first black woman to win a gold medal in the women’s all-around gymnastics final.
