Usher testified Monday morning against his ex-wife Tameka Foster in the midst of a heated custody battle.
The Atlanta singer told the judge Tameka Foster threw a jealous fit and turned violent. He testified she hit him, threw food at and spit on his girlfriend when they showed up at her house.
He said on the stand Tameka walked to his car and said, “I’m gonna kick your ass. B*tch get out of the car. How dare you bring this woman into my subdivision in my house?”
He added, “She continued to spit. At this point she pulled the door open, tried to swing at her.”
Usher said he had to get out of the car and keep Foster from striking his new woman. He told the judge he pleaded with his child’s mother to calm down, but she then threw a plate of food at the car.
So he decided to leave the situation and drove off.
But Foster backed up the claims in previous testimony when she told the court she once told Usher’s girlfriend, “I will f**k you up.”
Usher was also grilled about his alleged drug use. The singer admitted to smoking pot in the past, but when the subject turned to his alleged ecstasy use Usher’s lawyer objected.
Usher insisted he never used drugs in front of the children — an allegation Tameka made early in their custody fight — but hedged on the subject of seeing his children while under the influence.
Under the strain of questions from Tameka’s attorney, the singer then broke into tears when it was insinuated that he cares more about partying than he does about his children.
