A four alarm fire damaged the huge Tyler Perry studio complex in southwest Atlanta Tuesday evening.

Fox 5 Atlanta reports that it took over 100 firefighters and at least 20 trucks to put out the blaze that started around 8:40 p.m. It took about an hour to contain the fire.

Thankfully there were no reports of injuries.

Fire officials said there was a partial collapse to the front area of one building. It was unknown if the fire would affect any productions.

Tyler Perry was at the studios Tuesday night to view the damage and returned on Wednesday. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

A spokesperson for Tyler Perry released the following statement:

“Atlanta firefighters responded immediately to a fire which damaged the backlot façade of one of the buildings at Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta. We are grateful that there were no injuries, and that 99 percent of the damage is limited to the backlot facade. Mr. Perry wishes to express his heartfelt thanks to the Atlanta fire department for their professionalism in their quick response and limiting the damage.”
