Memorial Keepsakes and M. J. Edwards Funeral Home, the New Jersey funeral home entrusted with the final arrangements of Whitney Houston, have released an obituary honoring the life of our favorite “Jersey Girl.”
Services for Houston, who died Saturday, February 11, 2012, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA the night before the Grammy Awards, will be held at New Hope Baptist Church, where Houston sang as a child.
The services will be carried on television and streamed online.
Her eulogy will be given by gospel singer Marvin Winans. Her godmother Aretha Franklin will sing. Clive Davis and Kevin Costner will also speak at the funeral.
