Katt Williams has issued an apology for offending a Mexican fan during a standup show in Phoenix.
Katt was quoted as saying, “My remarks were not meant to be offensive.” “I want to apologize if my comedy act was taken out of context. I sincerely appreciate my fans within the Mexican community and would never intentionally go out of my way to offend them.” The rant lasted more than seven minutes and was in response to a heckler. The comedian also sang the national anthem several times as the argument with the audience member intensified.
